He decides to take matters into his own hands and travels to Costa Rica to meet the boss of the online gambling, in hopes of getting his money back.

Twenty-One (2006)

This is another great movie that uses gambling and education as main motifs. Ben is a young mathematics genius who is looking for a way to earn money to pay for his education. He does this, of course, by playing blackjack.

Ben eventually joins a group of frauds who use “counting” and refined secret gestures to increase their chances of winning. Ben collects money for his education quickly. However, he has another challenge now, to get out of the game.

Casino (1995)

The Casino is regarded by many as one of the best movies ever made. It is no wonder if you consider the fact that it was directed by the brilliant Martin Scorsese. The movie is so highly regarded that the lead actress, Sharon Stone, was even awarded the Golden Globe for her performance.

Croupier (1998)

Lucky You is all about professional poker. Hak Cheever, the main character in the movie, gives all he has every time in order to win and does not shy away from risks.
